Aim and program profile

The purpose of the programme of Master studies is to enhance the level of knowledge in training new staff in the field of physical culture s and sports The programme aims to train staff who, at the same time, will work with other school categories and with other advanced sportsmen in certain sports disciplines. This would contribute to the advancement of staff in two aspects and at the same time it would contribute to the adaptation to market forces regarding specializations in sports. The present programme will serve as a bridge between specialization pertaining to skills in leadership of sports-culture work with youth and sports coaches which will be in harmony with the labour market changes in Kosovo and its approximation with the EU market.

Expected learning outcomes

To demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of physical culture and verbally and in writing to articulate such knowledge.
To interpret and determine the adequate implementation, separately or in combination, of the following theories: pedagogic (pedagogy), psychological and sociological (sports) biomechanics and physiological (science of training).
To read and interpret research from the certain research field and to apply the important findings in their occupation.
To expand and to integrate knowledge in relation to fitness, health and welfare and to apply that knowledge in the field of teaching or sports training.
To be able to demonstrate a range of necessary of observation, analytical and assessment skills of respective study programmes.
To synthesise and implement theoretical concepts from the research literature in the chosen specialization field.
To draft, plan and implement the professional science project on the basis of literature review and by using the appropriate methodology.
