The Production program started originally to meet the needs of a specific target student group focused on production and postproduction as a means to realize their electronic journalism. Not only it has proved to be successful, but it has also increased the need for the development of such modular programs, which will benefit different fields, such as filming, music, electronic media and so on. This program becomes even more important as Kosovar media further develops, as well as with the development of new attractive profiles for the local and international labor market, such as marketing offices, public relation offices, etc. Marketing offices, film production companies, and various film productions, including similar agencies, need such a profile of labor force prepared in the Mass Communication study program. The institution has made available to students for their practical work its editing TV room, radio editing room, broadcasting room, video cameras, photographic cameras, etc.
– Use cameras of various types, such as photographic and video cameras – Use of equipment for editing recordings – Realize production and post-production – Lead a recording team of a film production house
– Manage an editing room
– Realize independent audiovisual production
– Realize independent production and finalize media marketing products – Be able to respond to dynamic developments of advanced information technology used in mass communication
Upon completion of this level of studies, students earn their title of: Bachelor of Mass Communication – Production program (BSc).
Bachelor studies are organized into 6 academic semesters; each semester has 15 weeks accumulating 30 ECTS each, which means that students should accumulate an overall of 180 ECTS to graduate.
