Ibrahim Berisha (1955) was born in the Republic of Kosova. He earned a PhD in sociology of communications. After working as a journalist and editor in Kosova and abroad, he now teaches at the Department of Sociology in the University of Prishtina, Kosova. Some of his books that include sociological and cultural works, poetry, stories and novels are: Death of Colony, Powerless Wisdom, Media Culture, The Real Utopia, Media- Agents of Communication, Intellectual Convergence, Media and Transition, Socioculture, Cage of Fear, Tribe of Lost Kings, Woman of Loneliness, Wind of the rain, Tuesday Night, The Whisper of the Shadow, Origins of Renunciation, The End is Possible, Sunday’s Surface etc. His works have been translated into German, English, French, Swedish, Slovenian, Bosnian, Montenegrin, Macedonian, Turkish, Romanian etc.
