Shasivar Rexhepi is a dedicated and results-driven Software Engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development, system digitalization, and modern web technologies. He currently works as a Lecturer Assistant at AAB College, a role he has held since October 2023, where he contributes to both academic teaching and practical training in programming, databases, and web development.
Before joining academia full-time, Shasivar spent five years working as a Software Engineer at Cacttus Sh.A (October 2019 – October 2024), one of Kosovo’s leading technology companies. During his tenure at Cacttus, he played a vital role in developing enterprise-level software solutions for government institutions, private companies, and national-scale digital platforms. His work at Cacttus strengthened his expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, as well as front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and frameworks including Bootstrap and React JS.
In parallel with his software engineering work, Shasivar has been strongly engaged in professional training and education. He served as a Frontend Development Lecturer at Beetroot Academy Kosovo during two separate periods (2022–2023 and 2023–2024), teaching practical, industry-oriented courses covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, Bootstrap, jQuery, React, Figma, and development workflows. His academic and training experience highlights his ability to convey complex concepts clearly and support the development of future IT professionals.
Shasivar holds a Bachelor’s (2016–2020) and a Master’s Degree (2021–2024) in Computer Science from AAB College, complemented by Full Stack Developer training at Cacttus Education.
