Disciplinary Commission

The Steering Council has approved the Regulation on Disciplinary Measures and Procedures through which it regulates the disciplinary procedure, disciplinary commissions, disciplinary violations, and the appeal procedure.
The regulation applies to academic staff, non-academic staff, and students.
The disciplinary procedure is regulated in such a way that any person who identifies a disciplinary violation or is a party affected by the alleged disciplinary violation, has the right to submit it to the Disciplinary Commission at the level of the institution or at the level of the faculty.
Alleged disciplinary violations of academic and non-academic staff are dealt with by the Disciplinary Commission at the level of the institution, whose members are appointed by the Steering Council for a term of (4) years, whereas alleged disciplinary violations of students are dealt with by the Disciplinary Commission at the faculty level, whose members are elected by the Faculty Teaching Council from among the internal academic staff.
When taking disciplinary action, the Disciplinary Commissions apply the provisions of the Statute, the Regulation on Disciplinary Procedure, the provisions of other internal acts of the institution, and the provisions of applicable laws and bylaws.
