The Faculty of Foreign Languages at AAB College held the next advisory meeting with representatives of partner institutions under the motto “Closer to partners, closer to the labor market”, with the aim of reviewing suggestions for the English language program, preparing students with skills that suit today’s labor market, mechanisms for practical work, etc.
This meeting was attended by representatives from the EULEX Recruitment Office, the senior official for linguistic harmonization in the English language at the Assembly of Kosovo, directors from TranKos Consulting, Translation Center, Britannica Edmond Ramadani, Manaferra company, etc.
During the meeting, ideas were exchanged which will be reflected in the new English language curriculum, through which the soft skills of students in communication, scientific research and academic writing can be improved.
Other suggestions focused on the number of courses on public speaking skills, presentation and organizational skills, expanding cooperation for practical work opportunities and field training, integrating intercultural aspects into the English language teaching program and other related issues with partner institutions.
These initiatives aim to equip students with well-rounded skills that are necessary for success in industries where communication in English is a must.
