EU-Health Acquis is the next project approved for funding by the European Union, within the Jean Monnet Actions and will be implemented at AAB College

This innovative project aims to design and implement a new module titled “Towards the European Union’s legal framework for health” within the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Master’s program in Healthcare Management. The project aims to equip students with in-depth skills and knowledge related to the health dimension of the EU acquis, preparing them to advise, plan, organize, coordinate and provide health care services in accordance with EU guidelines and regulationss.

What does the new module include?

-Education on EU healthcare policies/regulations/standards

-Training on effective decision-making and management in health care structures

– Preparation for political dialogue with the main actors for the quality and safety of health care. Why is this module important?

This initiative not only increases students’ understanding of the EU health-related acquis, but also helps align healthcare practices in Kosovo with EU standards. This module is an important step towards preparing future professionals for the EU labor market and contributing to the quality and safety of healthcare.

This project represents an important effort to strengthen the EU’s role in promoting quality and safe healthcare, and we are committed to expanding knowledge and awareness of EU healthcare compliance, not only among of students, but also of healthcare professionals and the general public.
