Another special activity was carried out with the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, this time at the Museum of Crystals in Mitrovica, within the “Basics of Natural Sciences with Methodology” course. This visit was intended to promote knowledge and interest in the minerals, crystals, nature and geological history of the region.

The museum contains a rich collection of crystals and minerals, including rare crystals from the mines of Kosovo.

The students saw up close different types of crystals, their properties, how they are used in industry and their importance in science, while learning about the geological processes that lead to their formation along with the challenges and benefits of the mineral extraction industry in Kosovo, by experts on this

field.
