The international conference “Well-being in challenging times” begins at AAB College with hundreds of presentations and participants

In cooperation with Albanian universities and the Albanian Sociological Association, the international conference “Wellbeing in challenging times” has begun. The opening of the conference was moderated by the vice-rector of AAB College Venera Llunji, who appreciated the participation of all those present, emphasizing the importance of this organization.

Rector Blerim Olluri, in his welcoming speech for the participants and collaborators of the conference, expressed his satisfaction that AAB College is the host of this event this year, while he mentioned the institution’s ongoing commitment in the field of knowledge and science.

“This conference aims to gather Albanian universities and AAB College as hosts in this collaboration and scientific research. Research, networking and cooperation in the field of knowledge and science are the most superior activities of a university and at the same time the most challenging and qualitative activities in a higher education institution. Therefore, AAB College attaches special importance to these commitments and these events”, said Olluri.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, other guests such as Jacques Marion, President of the Universal Peace Federation for Europe and the Middle East, Jola Kepi, Executive Director of the Center for School Leadership, Arbona Xhemajli, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research at the University of Gjilan “Kadri Zeka”, Azeta Tartaraj, vice-rector for Scientific Research at “Aleksander Moisiu” University in Durrës.

They wished that the conference would bring fruitful products and results for the entire audience and for other such important collaborations in the future.

At the opening ceremony of the conference, the head of the Albanian Sociological Association, Lekë Sokoli, delivered several awards on behalf of the Committee for the Evaluation of Academic Contributions Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and the diaspora, such as “Award for the best partnership”, “Awards for excellence in research and practice” and “Award: Ambassador of Peace” for the rector of AAB College Blerim Olluri.
