AAB College held the launch ceremony of the “EU-Health Acquis” project, which aims to design and implement the new module on “Towards the Legal Framework of the European Union – Health Acquis”, within the Master of Science program in Care Management Health in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The European Union-funded project, part of Jean Monnet Actions, aims to equip students with in-depth skills and knowledge related to the health dimension of the EU acquis, preparing them to advise, plan, organize, coordinate and deliver services of healthcare in accordance with EU guidelines and regulations.
The rector of AAB College Blerim Olluri described the project as an excellent example of how higher education institutions can contribute to the promotion of European values and the development of professional staff.
The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Idriz Sopjani, emphasized the goal that health is primary everywhere in society, therefore such projects prove this.
Professor Bujar Demjaha spoke as the monitor of this project, where he said that it is a pleasure to be part of such initiatives, adding that he expects it to be implemented as planned and to be successful.
The coordinator of the project, Fatima Arënliu Qosaj, presented some details about the project, such as the duration, the objectives, the main activities that will take place and the conclusions. Among other things, she mentioned raising the quality of education in the institution as one of the main points, and for this reason the project is part of the foundations of this journey.
Professors Luan Jaha and Mybera Mustafa also spoke about the role of projects in the development of the program, while expressing their willingness to contribute during the implementation phase.
