The professional tennis tournaments for women, the ITF World Tennis Tour “Antalya Series”, took place in Antalya, Turkey. In this important event, Forta Morina, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at AAB College, scored a great victory, defeating the Russian tennis player Valentina Pozhidaeva with a convincing result of 6-1, 6-4.

Forta is the first tennis player from Kosovo to achieve this success at the international tennis level, marking a historic moment for Kosovar sport.

During the preliminary period, she has developed intensive preparations with experienced players from all over the world. Her training included sparring and training sessions with high-ranking players from Italy, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Russia and the Kosovo Davis Cup team.

In addition, Forta has participated in several pre-qualifying matches, qualifying in four out of seven tournaments. These competitions and training camps are a valuable experience for the continuation of her career as a professional tennis player.
