The Master’s Program in Physical Culture and Sport aims to prepare specialists in Physical Culture and Sports who can meet the demands of the labor market at the national, regional, and international levels. Graduates of this program will be equipped with advanced and specialized knowledge, enabling them to take on leadership roles based on research-driven and applied expertise. Furthermore, they will play a key role in the development and implementation of policies that drive progress in the field.

The mission of the MA program in Physical Culture and Sports is to: “equip students with advanced and specialized theoretical and practical competencies, who will be prepared to lead and conduct interdisciplinary scientific research and manage innovative projects related to improving public health, increasing sports performance, as well as developing strategies for promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle”.

According to Article 6 of the Regulation, candidates are eligible for MA studies if they have completed their Bachelor’s studies and earned at least 180 ECTS, or 240 ECTS, depending on the program. Further conditions for admission to the MA program are:
The number of study places according to the decision of the KAA is 40 students per academic year.
According to the Regulation for Master Studies at AAB College, the recognition of qualifications and transfer of studies are governed by Articles 9, 10, and 11. These articles outline the conditions, criteria, and procedures for admitting students from other higher education institutions, detail the process of transferring, and explain how previously studied courses can be recognized and deemed equivalent.
Studies in the MA Program in Physical Culture and Sport last 1 year, 60 ECTS, with a total of 2 semesters.
Upon completion of studies, students earn the academic title Master of Arts in Physical Culture and Sport.
Graduates of the MA Program in Physical Culture and Sport have wide employment opportunities as personal trainers in fitness centers and physical activity settings in different environments, providing professional advice and leading training programs for individuals and groups. They have opportunities to engage in teaching in educational and sports institutions, as well as to contribute to the preparation and development of athletes at different levels.
An important dimension of this program is the preparation of professional staff for the leadership and administration of sports institutions at central and local levels, as well as sports clubs and sports schools in Kosovo. Graduates also have employment opportunities in sports clubs and federations.
Assessment methods at the Master level aim to measure not only the achievement of learning outcomes in the academic aspect, but also the preparation of students for the labor market. Assessment is carried out through a combination of methods, including written examinations, evaluation of practical skills, projects, assignments, case studies, and oral presentations. Students are also assessed through individual research reports, reflective reports, and independent work within the framework of the dissertation, professional practice, consultancy, or simulations, thereby developing research, analytical, ethical, and professional skills.
