Bujar Gashi

Director of the Main Family Medicine Center – Municipality of Prishtina

Dr. Bujar Gashi was born on July 8, 1977, in Prishtina. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina, where he was awarded the title of Medical Doctor on January 25, 2008. On March 27, 2015, he completed his specialization in Family Medicine at the same institution. In 2019, he obtained a Master of Arts in Health Management from ILIRIA College in Prishtina, enhancing his expertise in public health management.

His professional career began in 1999 at the Emergency Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) as an Emergency Nurse. From 2002 to 2008, he worked as a field emergency nurse at the Emergency Medical Center of the Municipality of Prishtina, contributing to public health projects and activities. Between 2008 and 2015, he served as a medical doctor at the same center, focusing on improving healthcare service quality through daily activities, development of protocols, and clinical guidelines.

Following his specialization, he worked as a Family Medicine Specialist from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he was appointed Director of the Emergency Medical Center in Prishtina. His role in healthcare management expanded further during 2018–2021 when he served as Director of the Health Directorate of the Municipality of Prishtina. Since 2021, he has been serving as the Director of the Main Family Medicine Center in Prishtina.

Academically, since 2018, Dr. Gashi has been a full-time lecturer at AAB College, teaching courses in medicine and health management.
