Dr. Ilir Bejta was born on October 22, 1976, in Mitrovica, where he completed both primary education and the Medical High School. In 2005, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Prishtina, earning the title Doctor of Medicine.
In 2011, he began his specialization in the field of Radiology, which he completed in 2015, obtaining the title of Radiology Specialist. From 2011 to 2016, he worked first as a General Practitioner and later as a Radiology Specialist at Rezonanca General Hospital in Prishtina.
Since 2016, he has been working at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK) – Clinic of Radiology. From 2019 to 2021, he served as Head of Abdominal Diagnostics and Interventional Radiology. Since 2023, he has also been part of the medical staff at Olive Clinic in both Mitrovica and Prishtina.
Prof. Ilir Bejta has pursued numerous professional training programs. In 2018, he completed training in PET-CT at “Life Med” and “Emsey Hospital” in Istanbul, Turkey. In 2022, he undertook training in Interventional Radiology at the University Clinical Center in Athens, Greece.
He has actively and passively participated in various national and international conferences.
His teaching experience began at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Rezonanca, where he worked from 2011 to 2016 as academic staff, teaching courses such as Radiological Anatomy, General Radiology, and Ultrasound Imaging. Since 2018, he has been a full-time professor at AAB College, teaching the following subjects:
