Through an agreement with the company Paysera, AAB College has become the first higher education institution in Kosovo to provide Fintech services for its students. Under this agreement, AAB College has made it possible for students to pay their tuition in real-time while also eliminating transaction fees when paying from Diaspora. AAB College, through this platform, makes it easier than ever for students to receive financial assistance from their families abroad (Diaspora).
On this occasion, vice-chairman of the board of directors at AAB College, Gëzim Shabani said that he is thrilled that through this agreement, our students can now more easily pay their tuition. “AAB College remains the prime candidate when it comes to offering digitized services to students. From now on, all payments can be made through the mobile phone. With the support of Paysera, our students can now reduce the use of cash, and the bank fees for services rendered!” said Shabani.
Meanwhile, chief executive officer of Paysera in Kosovo, Bashkim Zeqiri said that it is a good sign for the development of financial products when Kosovo companies are increasing their involvement in the innovative world by automating services and using information technology which reduces costs and facilitates operations.
“This is the biggest agreement that a Kosovo company and Fintech have come to so far”, added Zeqiri. The digitization of the student card will enable the automation of processes and the possibility of a digital wallet for all students.
