Students of AAB College’s Faculty of Physical Education and Sport continue to demonstrate their excellence on the international stage. At the Balkan Judo Championship, organized by the European Judo Federation and the Judo Federation of Kosovo in Peja, they achieved remarkable results.
As part of the activities marking the 25th Anniversary of AAB College, these sporting achievements highlight the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and international cooperation, as well as its leading role in advancing sports in Kosovo and beyond.
Dardan Cena, a student at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, was crowned Balkan Champion in the -73 kg senior category, showcasing professionalism, dedication, and a high level of academic and athletic preparation.
Meanwhile, Anes Veseli, also a student of the same faculty, won the title of Balkan Vice-Champion in the -90 kg senior category, further underlining the outstanding performance of AAB College students at this major international sporting event.
For the third consecutive year, Kosovo hosted this prestigious international championship, welcoming around 10 participating countries, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, and Turkey.
These results reaffirm the position of AAB College as the largest and most advanced private higher education institution in Kosovo, strengthening its international prestige and demonstrating that the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport is a leading center for preparing young athletes capable of representing both Kosovo and AAB College with dignity and success on the global stage.
