At the initiative of the students, the Faculty of Psychology at AAB College organized a discussion on the occasion of Pink October, the month of awareness for breast cancer.
Psychological aspect and emotional support
During the activity, the psychological aspect of coping with the disease, the importance of emotional support and the role that willpower plays in the healing process were discussed.
Inspirational experiences and examples
The panel included Ms. Arnisa Osmani from the non-governmental organization “Have Hope”, who shared her experience and commitment to supporting women facing this health challenge. The discussion was moderated by Professor Donika Shahini-Lami, from the Faculty of Psychology at AAB College.
Thought-provoking messages and the need for reflection
Through this activity, students and attendees were encouraged to reflect on the importance of empathy, solidarity and emotional support for people facing breast cancer. The event highlighted the importance of promoting health awareness and education.
