The Faculty of Economics at AAB College organized a lecture with guest Mr. Arton Lena, co-founder and Executive Director of WVP Fund Management, dedicated to Bachelor’s and Master’s students.
The lecture, coordinated by Prof. Florije Miftari, focused on “Practices and Challenges of Investment Funds in the Western Balkans.”
During the session, Mr. Lena provided a detailed overview of contemporary investment fund practices, emphasizing their role in the development of regional financial markets. He presented best investment practices, opportunities, and benefits for individual investors.
The lecture also included concrete regional examples and a discussion of the key legal, institutional, and economic challenges faced by investment funds in the Western Balkans.Participating students engaged in interactive discussions, gaining practical knowledge on fund investment, portfolio management, and future perspectives for investment markets, with particular attention to developments in the Republic of Kosovo.
