The Faculty of Economics of AAB College organized an academic workshop focused on further advancing and standardizing learning outcomes and syllabus structures at both course and program levels. The activity was carried out as part of the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to strengthening curriculum practices and enhancing alignment between learning objectives, targeted competencies, and course content.

During the workshop, participants worked on refining the formulation of learning outcomes in accordance with cognitive levels defined by Bloom’s Taxonomy, optimizing the number of learning outcomes per course, and deepening the alignment between learning outcomes, teaching units, instructional methods, and assessment formats. A review of core and supplementary literature was also conducted to ensure the relevance, accuracy, and up-to-date nature of academic content.

The workshop was preceded by an orientation session for academic staff on best practices in drafting measurable learning outcomes and structuring course syllabi, with the aim of further unifying and consolidating academic standards at the faculty level.

This activity represents an important step in the Faculty’s continuous institutional improvement efforts, reinforcing academic quality and ensuring a structured, coherent, and outcomes-oriented study offer that supports measurable student achievement.
