As part of the many activities of the International Staff Week, a workshop titled “Cultural Mythbusters
for Better Cross-Cultural Awareness” was held today, led by Dovydas Buivys, International Relations
Coordinator at Šiaulių Valstybinė Kolegija.
The workshop brought together participants from universities from different countries around the
world, creating an interactive space for discussion and reflection on cross-cultural awareness and the
challenges arising from cultural stereotypes.
During the session, participants shared personal experiences, discussed concrete cases, and explored
practical strategies for building a more inclusive environment toward cultural diversity.
This workshop contributed to deepening international dialogue and strengthening the professional
capacities of staff, reflecting the importance of cultural awareness in an increasingly globalized academic
environment.
