DEPUTY FRENCH AMBASSADOR TO PRISTINA MR. FRANCOIS CYPRIEN, AWARDS CERTIFICATES FOR STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF MASS COMMUNICATION

The training “Fighting misinformation”, organized by the Faculty of Mass Communication in the framework of cooperation with the French organization CFI, was successfully completed.

The closing ceremony and the distribution of certificates to the participants was attended by the French Deputy Ambassador in Pristina, Mr. Francois Cyprien, who congratulated the participants for the results achieved and expressed the readiness of the French Embassy to continue with such events for the benefit of students.

The delegation of the French Embassy met with Deputy Rector Shemsedin Vehapi, who thanked all the participants and expressed interest to continue with other such trainings.

Lecturers in this two-day training were Professor Ilire Zajmi selected by CFI, and Robert Bourgoing, French communication expert, who joined us via video call from France.

CFI is a member of the Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD) which was established in 2004 to lobby on behalf of those working for media cooperation, and to coordinate the actions of its members in the service of development in countries which are in-wait of receiving international aid. CFI is a public sector operator, mainly funded by the French Ministry of Europe and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
