On the occasion of the International Jazz Day, the students of the Faculty of Arts of AAB College held a series of activities.
The Rector of AAB College in the opening of this event congratulated the organizers, the Faculty of Arts, and wished that this event continues annually for years to come.
“I hope that this event will continue to be held annually for years to come, with each event better than the one that came before, especially when the pandemic restrictions are lifted.”
The well-known Albanian jazz guitarist, Faton Macula, who lives and works in the USA, also addressed the students through a video message.
He urged students and institutions of art and culture to pay more attention to this day and this musical current and promised students that he will soon offer workshops on jazz and jazz theory.
According to Macula, Jazz is the highest level of music, and that this musical form is not just a genre but a way of life.
To mark this day, the students of Musicology, Gent Malazogu and Arta Elezi showed us their artistic performance through jazz.
The day’s activities were concluded with the exhibition of the Faculty of Graphic Design and Multimedia students.
