“Creating the film industry in Kosovo” was the topic which was discussed today between students of the Faculty of Mass Communication and Arben Zharku, director of the Kosovo Cinematography Center (CCK).
Zharku told the students that the young people of Kosovo today have many opportunities to reach the world with their films, and that the Kosovo Cinema Center supports international co-production such as feature and short films, and documentaries.
“Every year, the CCK organizes calls for subsidizing short and feature film projects, documentaries, animations, screenplay developments, post-productions and international co-productions. The CCK also promotes the Kosovo film industry in the biggest film festivals and markets in the world ” said Zharku.
He also invited the students to apply for the Film and Television School of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague – FAMU, as well as the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs-EAVE, a program for professional training, development of projects and organization for networking of audiovisual producers.
