Behrije Halilaj‑Vishi was born on April 30, 1982 , in Kaçanik, where she completed her primary and secondary education. In 2011, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tetovo. In 2014, she completed postgraduate studies in Health Management at Iliria College in Pristina, earning the degree of Master of Science in Health (Mr.Sc.). In 2019, she completed the 5-year (3+2) Pharmacy program at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tetovo, obtaining the title of Master of Pharmacy (Mr.Ph.). In 2020, she enrolled as a doctoral candidate in Nursing at the Angela Boškin Faculty in Slovenia, where she continues her studies.
Her professional experience began in 2000, when she began working as a nurse in the Surgery Department at the General Hospital of Ferizaj. She has since advanced into leadership and managerial roles and continues working there. She has also been a member of the Nurses’ Association since 2001. In 2015, with the founding of the Nurses’ Chamber, she was appointed as a member and served two terms, during which she chaired the Continuing Education Oversight Committee. In the same year, she was hired as an Assistant in the Nursing Department at Universi College, later serving as a lecturer until 2021. Since 2022, she has been working as a lecturer in the Nursing Department at AAB College, where she remains today.
