The objectives of forensic science are generally based on building unique global platforms and standards towards innovation, documentation and interpretation of forensic facts in the service of justice institutions. This conference of the Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences, which will be held on October 27th and 28th at AAB College, will bring together forensic scientists, forensic pathologists, forensic investigators, forensic nurses and researchers in order to increase the level of services through various scientific presentations in various fields of the discipline.
The conference will be attended by world-renowned experts in the field of forensic sciences, including prof. Duarte Nuno Vieires, Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Criminal Court. The keynote speaker is also Dr. John Clark, who was the chief pathologist at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia after the crimes in Bosnia and Croatia as well as then in Kosovo. Confirmed keynote speakers are Prof. dr. Jason Payne and Dr. Isabel Riege, who is the leader of the DVI Interpol team.
In particular, young students and scholars are encouraged to participate in various fields of forensic sciences such as forensic pathology, anthropology, archeology, odontology, including the fields of law, criminology, security, advocacy, judicial systems and prosecution who forensic sciences offer their professional and scientific services for.
