AAB College Professor Carries out a Research Visit to the University of Leuven, Belgium, as Part of the EU HUMLIT Project

Professor Aleksandar Takovski of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at AAB College carried out a research visit to the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium as part of the HUMLIT project, an initiative funded by the European Union’s Horizon MSCA program. This project focuses on the study of humor in the European public sphere and aims to strengthen international academic collaboration.

During his visit, Professor Takovski was warmly received by the staff of the Leuven Faculty of Arts, including Prof. Kurt Feyaerts, Prof. Geert Brône, Prof. Bert Oben, and Prof. Paul Sambre. He held a series of intensive discussions, exploring opportunities for academic and research collaboration between AAB College and the University of Leuven, while also strengthening his involvement in the HUMLIT project.

The purpose of this research visit is to deepen both institutional and individual collaboration between the two universities and to foster the exchange of knowledge in the study of humor within a European context.
