Prof. Assoc. Dr. Hysen Kasumi, professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences in the field of Pedagogy, and Prof. Mentor Lecaj represented AAB College in an intercultural training held at the American Romanian University in Bucharest, Romania, as part of the Erasmus+ program.
The professional training was conducted as an intensive academic program on the topic “Preparing Students for an Intercultural Environment”, aiming to enhance pedagogical approaches and improve the quality of higher education in an international context.
During their stay in Bucharest, Professors Kasumi and Lecaj attended a series of training sessions focused on the professional development of academic staff and the integration of contemporary teaching methods in intercultural settings. Key themes included preparing students for the challenges of a global labor market, creating interactive classrooms, and the importance of cultural sensitivity in the educational process.
As part of this training, the AAB professors also participated in strategic meetings with representatives of the host university’s management and partner institutions from various countries. These meetings explored new opportunities for collaboration, including joint research projects, academic and student exchange programs, and inter-institutional activities that support the internationalization of higher education.
AAB College continues to invest in the professional development of its staff and expand international cooperation in order to offer modern and competitive higher education.
