AAB College Students Shine at the Balkan Judo Championship

Students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of AAB College continue to demonstrate their successes in the international arena. At the Balkan Judo Championship, organized by the European Judo Federation and the Kosovo Judo Federation in Peja, they achieved extraordinary results.

Within the framework of the activities marking the 25th anniversary of AAB College, these sporting achievements emphasize the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation and international cooperation, as well as its leading role in the development of sports in Kosovo and beyond.

Dardan Cena, a student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, was declared Balkan Champion in the -73 kg category for seniors, demonstrating professionalism, dedication and a high level of academic and sports preparation.

Meanwhile, Anes Veseli, also a student of this faculty, was declared Balkan Runner-up in the -90 kg category for seniors, thus completing the extraordinary success of AAB College students in this major sporting event.

For the third year in a row, Kosovo hosted this prestigious international championship, welcoming around 10 participating countries, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Greece, Moldova, Romania and Turkey.

These results reconfirm the position of AAB College as the largest and most advanced private higher education institution in Kosovo, strengthening its international prestige and proving that the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports is a leading center for the preparation of young athletes, capable of representing with dignity and success both Kosovo and AAB on the global stage.
