A delegation from AAB College conducted a visit to the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo with the
aim of strengthening institutional cooperation between higher education and the financial sector. The
visit was attended by the Vice-Rector of AAB College, Prof. Dr. Ilir Bytyçi, the Dean of the Faculty of
Economics, Prof. Dr. Xhavit Ismaili, as well as Jehona Rukovci from the Career Office.
During the meeting, the participants discussed opportunities to create a framework of cooperation
aimed at involving students in professional internships within the departments of the Central Bank of
Kosovo, organizing joint academic and professional activities such as conferences, roundtable
discussions, and public lectures, as well as the professional contribution of Central Bank experts to the
development and advancement of study programs.
The cooperation is also expected to extend to scientific research, academic publications, and financial
education, creating new opportunities for students’ professional development and strengthening the
connection between academia and the financial sector.
