The CreaTech project, funded by the European Institute for Technology and Innovation, under the European Commission’s Horizon Europe funding scheme, was launched at AAB College.
Goals of the “CreaTech” project
CreaTech aims to strengthen universities through collaboration with businesses, research institutions and creative organizations, preparing students to become leaders of innovation and transformation in high-impact sectors.
Rector’s speech at the project launch
The Rector of AAB College, Dr.Sc Blerim Olluri, congratulated those present on the CreaTech project, as an initiative that brings together creativity, technology and entrepreneurship.
“AAB College, in addition to being an active partner, is leading the development of the “Knowledge Lab”, a unique training program that aims to develop practical skills, entrepreneurial mindsets and innovative competencies for students and academic staff. These laboratories will serve as centers of co-creation between the university and industry, offering training, mentoring and support”, said Olluri among others.

Student involvement in the project
The project coordinator, Professor Agron Mustafa of the Faculty of Economics, emphasized the importance of the project and how students will be involved by having their role in the development of the project. He, among other things, presented the project work packages, objectives and goals.
