Bachelor studies in BA program in Applied Arts Program in Spatial Design have the right to enrol all those candidates who have completed secondary education, possess the necessary documentation, and fulfil the minimum admission criteria determined by the Senate. Per the Regulation for Bachelor Studies at AAB College, recognition of qualifications and transfer of studies are governed by Articles 6, 7, and 8 of this regulation. These articles outline the conditions, criteria, and procedures for admitting students from other higher education institutions, the transfer process, and the recognition and equivalence of previously studied courses.
Studies in the BA program in Applied Arts Program in Spatial Design last 3 years (6 semesters) and comprise a total of 180 ECTS, with 60 ECTS per year and 30 ECTS per semester.
Upon completion of the studies, students are awarded the academic title Bachelor of Applied Arts in Spatial Design.
Graduates of the Applied Arts in Spatial Design program are prepared to contribute to the job market in Kosovo and beyond, including employment in various industries such as furniture production companies, theaters and television studios, design offices, project management, and professional consultancy in exhibition salons, project supervision, etc. This trend is closely linked to the development of the private sector in the furniture industry and wood processing technologies, which offers a favorable outlook for young professionals in this field and supports both regional and global markets—whether through independent work or online platforms dedicated to spatial design.
In the BA Applied Arts in Spatial Design program, both summative and formative assessment methods are used.
Summative assessment includes final interior design projects, professional concept presentations, and written examinations in theoretical subjects.
Formative assessment is carried out through weekly exercises, practical studio assignments, direct questioning during lectures, and work-in-progress evaluations, with the aim of continuously monitoring student progress.
