Aims and profile of the study program

The Bachelor program in Digital Business aims to prepare students to understand, develop, and implement innovative strategies that continuously improve performance and competitiveness in the digital business industry. The program supports students in gaining the necessary knowledge and skills for future career challenges and opportunities, by providing systematic training in academic, professional, and practical fields within the digitalized world.

The Professional BA in Digital Business, which offers two specializations: a) Artificial Intelligence in Business and b) Social Media Management, belongs to the field of management, business, and the digitalization of business processes. More broadly, this program aims to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills required to manage digital businesses, leveraging artificial intelligence and social media management to create competitive advantages in the market.

The expansion of this knowledge will enable students to apply it in practice, promoting innovation and successful management of technological changes to achieve success in the current era of digitalization. Through this program, scientific research and innovation in these fields are also encouraged, with the goal of contributing to societal development through the use of advanced digital business technologies.

Mission statement

The mission of the Digital Business program is to “equip students with knowledge and skills in the field of digital business, preparing professionals who use digital tools such as artificial intelligence and social network management to enhance business profitability and facilitate continuous improvements in adapting to digitalization trends”.

Admission to studies

Bachelor’s degree programs are open to all candidates who have completed their secondary education, possess the required documentation, and meet the minimum admission criteria set by the Senate. According to Article 5 of the Regulation for Bachelor’s Studies, the admission requirements are as follows:

Number of study places

The number of study places according to the decision of the KAA is 120 students per academic year.

Recognition of qualification

According to the Regulation for Bachelor Studies at AAB College, the recognition of qualifications and the transfer of studies are governed by Articles 6, 7, and 8 of this regulation. These articles outline the conditions, criteria, and procedures for admitting students from other higher education institutions, the process for transferring credits, and the steps for recognizing and equating previously completed courses.

Studies in the BA Professional program in Digital Business last 3 years, 180 ECTS, with a total of 6 semesters.

Level and Academic Degree

Upon completion of studies, students earn the academic title Professional Bachelor in Digital Business.

Assessment methods

In the Professional BA in Digital Business program, a combined assessment approach is used, which includes written exams, case studies, seminar papers, laboratory assignments, and oral presentations to develop students’ analytical, creative, communicative, and digital skills. Assessment is complemented by reflective reports and practical projects in real work environments, helping students apply theoretical knowledge in practice and prepare for professional challenges. Throughout the semester, formative assessment is also implemented, including exercises, discussions, and continuous feedback from instructors, with the aim of monitoring progress and ensuring the achievement of learning outcomes.
