Kosovo’s current context, including the need to improve the administration of civil justice and to ensure fair and timely resolutions of civil matters, requires professionals equipped with profound knowledge and practical skills.
The postgraduate program in Civil Law offers a deep and comprehensive understanding of civil law, covering key areas such as substantive civil law, property law, civil procedure, obligations law, family law, inheritance law, European private law, industrial property law, commercial law, and fiscal law. This program aims to prepare students not only with in-depth knowledge of legal regulations but also with the ability to analyse theoretical perspectives and engage in academic debates that illuminate the most critical issues in civil law.
The mission of the LLM in Civil Law program is to equip students with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in civil law, along with expertise in scientific research, enabling them to analyze complex legal dilemmas and propose fair, innovative, and professional solutions that contribute to the advancement of justice and effective legal practice.

According to the Regulation for Master Studies at AAB College, the recognition of qualifications and transfer of studies are governed by Articles 9, 10, and 11. These articles outline the conditions, criteria, and procedures for admitting students from other higher education institutions, detail the process of transferring, and explain how previously studied courses can be recognized and deemed equivalent.

Upon completion of studies, students earn the academic title LLM in Civil Law.
Graduates of the Civil Law program find employment in a variety of fields, including law firms, where they provide legal advice and representation in areas such as property disputes, contracts, and family law; corporate legal departments, handling compliance, intellectual property, and contracts; the judiciary system, serving as judges, or administrative staff; and in public institutions dealing with justice, property rights, or trade regulations. Our graduates are also sought after in banking and financial institutions for managing legal aspects of transactions and compliance, as well as in arbitration and mediation centers as arbitrators or mediators.
