The mission of the Faculty of Health Sciences is to strive for excellence in preparing healthcare professionals through student-centered approaches and advanced teaching methodologies. The Faculty aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to address emerging healthcare challenges in an evolving society, it actively engages in generating new knowledge through scientific research and by identifying practical issues in healthcare, thus contributing to the continuous improvement of healthcare services. In doing so, the Faculty of Health Sciences promotes positive changes in the healthcare systems of Kosovo and beyond, preparing the graduates to lead and innovate in their respective fields.
The Faculty of Health Sciences was established to provide essential education for the nursing profession at the bachelor’s level. Through their studies, students gain knowledge of fundamental nursing principles, develop critical judgment skills based on education and experience, and learn to apply these principles effectively for decision-making and problem-solving in delivering high-quality nursing services.
In addition to the nursing track, the Faculty offers a professional bachelor’s program in Radiology Technology and a master’s program in Health Management. The Faculty also aims to expand its offerings in specific areas of health sciences, thereby increasing its academic capacity, contributing to scientific advancements and community health, and establishing itself as a leading academic center for health education in the region.
