Fourth-year students at the Faculty of Law have conducted simulations of court hearings, in order to understand practically how they work.
Based on a case designed by professor Albana Pasjaqa, the students were divided into groups to play different roles, as lawyers for the parties, the court and experts in the respective fields. This format enabled them to use the theoretical knowledge acquired during the lectures and apply it to a real situation, analyzing and arguing in a structured way.
They presented clear and strong arguments while using their legal knowledge to defend their clients’ positions, meeting all the procedural criteria required in a court case. On the other hand, the students who played the role of judges had the opportunity to evaluate the case and make decisions based on the law in force, to solve the cases in a fair and balanced way.
This activity has highlighted the faculty’s commitment to provide a balanced education, combining theory with practice and preparing students for the challenges of legal professions.
