“Take small but safe steps”, was one of the messages that the well-known journalist Marin Mema shared with the students of the Faculty of Mass Communication at AAB College. The conversation with journalist Mema was led by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Venera Llunji. Mema, who is known for his reports, the “Albanian Track” documentary series, shows and investigative journalism in general, recounted numerous events during the creation of various episodes, starting from the challenges, confrontations and up to the effect they had on Albanian society.

For young journalists, he gave messages related to respect for journalistic ethics, confirmation of sources, authenticity of news, reporting from the field and, above all, maintaining professionalism. Students asked questions to Marin, with an emphasis on his beginnings in journalism, ideas for shows, access to state documents and archives, journalism today, etc.

Journalist Mema delivered this lecture at the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication Gazmend Abrashi.
