The second day of the workshop for Mass Communication students of AAB College, supported by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State, continued today.
“Why fake news: size and effect”, was the topic of the first lecture held by journalist Kreshnik Gashi, who talked to the students of the Faculty of Mass Communication of AAB College about the validation of fake news and how much impact those measures have. Among other things, he told the students that one of the main pillars of being a successful journalist is the credibility they create.
While Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Berisha, addressed the role of propaganda in the media, deception and identification. He mentioned several cases with the students when media propaganda had played a role in determining the audience, but he also mentioned the steps that help to identify it.
Students who participated in this workshop asked questions about the causes of media propaganda, the effects of fake news and its history.
