Dr. Doruntina Shehu was born on 01.10.1992 in Gjakova, completed her primary education in Prishtina in 2007 and secondary education in Istanbul in 2011. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine – Dentistry of the University of Prishtina. Whereas, in 2021 she started working as a lecturer at the AAB College – Nursing and postgraduate studies of the Doctorate in Goce Delcev-Shtip in the direction of Clinical Dental Basics.
Her professional experience began in the context of working in dental practices alongside the position as a lecturer at AAB College, Dr. Fis-2021-2022 and in Dentline Practice-2022-2023.
In 2022 he participated in the TV program Alarm, ATV related to Oral Health and Gingivitis with Periodontal Pathologies.
In 2024 he applied for specialization in the branch of Oral Surgery – KKSUK.
Dr. Doruntina Shehu also possesses various dental professional certificates such as: Neuavia Dermal Fillers – for the entire facial region with Hyaluronic Acid, 2022; Preparation of the Bridges on the Natural teeth, Prof. Tonino Traini, 2022; Orthodontical Treatment with Edgewise Digital system, Prof. Dr. Roland Georges Kmeid, 2022; Dermal Fillers and TKNHA3 Skinbooster, Dr. Mariana Santiago, 2024; and Medical Emergencies in the Dentistry, Prof. Assoc. Fatos Sada, 2024.
Dr. Shehu has a dense academic activity. Since the academic year 2021 she is part of the regular staff at AAB College where she lectures subjects in the field of Nursing such as: Nursing and health in children and adolescents with pediatrics, Nursing care related to mental health and psychiatry, Community health care – home care (in the context of Kosovar health), Pain Management, Surgical care in Nursing and Ergonomics.

Dr. Shehu is also in the process of her postgraduate scientific thesis for PhD studies on the topic: The Association Between Caries and Medical-Social Factors in Children Aged 12 and 15 Years in Kosovo.
This paper was published in the book of abstracts at: International Conference of Medical Sciences, Tirana, 2025.
Dr. Shehu is also a polyglot and possesses knowledge of six languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, Arabic and Azeri.
She is married and lives in Prishtina.
