Current Position and Academic Engagement
Dr. Sci. Fadil Sherifi has been a lecturer in the Department of Radiological Techniques and the Faculty of Dentistry at AAB College, where he has been active since 2018. Previously, for over two decades (1997–2018), he served as an assistant in the Anatomy course at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina, in the Institute of Anatomy. He also worked as an anatomy assistant at “Rezonanca” University in Prishtina and at the University of Tetova during 2008–2009. In addition to his academic commitments, he taught at the “Luarasi” high school in Prishtina (2005/2006).
Clinical and Professional Experience
Dr. Sherifi’s clinical career includes specialization in Internal Medicine (2000–2004) and subsequent subspecialization as a gastroenterologist at QKUK (2015). He worked as an internist specialist at the Clinic of Radiology and Oncology “Rezonanca” (2008–2009) and as a gastroenterologist at the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Center “Eko Med” in Prishtina (2010–2024).
Education
Dr. Sherifi obtained his PhD from the University of Medical Sciences in Tirana (2022), with the thesis: “Non-invasive evaluation of anatomical variations of extrahepatic bile ducts.” He completed his Gastroenterology specialization at QKUK (2015), and in 2007 defended his master’s thesis at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina, titled “Endoscopic examinations in patients with risk factors for colorectal carcinoma.” He also completed abdominal sonography training in Skopje in 2005 and an Internal Medicine specialization in 2004.
Membership in Associations and Committees
Dr. Sherifi is an active member of several professional associations, including: the Kosovo Association of Internal Medicine Specialists, the Gastroenterology Association in Kosovo, and the Association of Endoscopists in Kosovo. He served on state committees for the treatment of patients with biological therapy (2022–2023), for out-of-country treatment (2018–2023), and for drafting the clinical protocol for Hepatitis C at the Ministry of Health (2022).

Dr. Sherifi provides professional consultation in the field of gastrointestinal and hepatological diseases, as well as in Anatomy. His academic and professional interests include: clinical anatomy, radiological and endoscopic anatomy, internal medicine of the gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary tract, and anatomical variations.
