Prof. Ass. Iliriana Bajrami was born on July 22, 1991, in Lipjan. She completed her primary and secondary education in Prishtina. In 2014, she graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Prishtina. In 2017, she completed her postgraduate studies at the same university, specializing in Constitutional-Administrative Law, earning the title of Master of Legal Sciences. In 2023, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled “The Role of Citizens and Civil Society in the Decision-Making of Public Administration in the Republic of Kosovo” at the South East European University in Tetovo, where she was awarded the academic title Doctor of Science in Governance and Public Administration.
Her professional experience includes numerous academic and institutional engagements. In the public sector, she has held high-level managerial positions at the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA), including: Head of the Division for European Integration (2023–2024), Head of the Division for Policy Coordination (2023), Senior Officer for European Integration (2015–2022).
She also served as the Coordinator of the project “Municipalities for Youth”, in cooperation with the Government of Japan, the World Bank, and the MLGA. In addition, she has contributed as a trainer at the NGO EEI – Education Empowerment Initiative.
Since 2024, she has been a full-time lecturer at AAB College, where she teaches courses in the field of public administration. Since 2018, she has also continuously contributed to higher education as a lecturer at “Rezonanca” College.
