Dr. Murat Murati was born on July 15, 1980, in Tetovo, North Macedonia. He currently resides in Hajvali, Pristina, Kosovo. He is a radiology specialist and university lecturer with extensive experience in the fields of medicine and higher education.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pristina, where he graduated in 2007 from the Faculty of Medicine with a degree in General Medicine. After several years of clinical practice, he pursued a specialization in Radiology at the same university, which he successfully completed in 2016.
Between 2007 and 2011, he worked as a general practitioner at the Primary Healthcare Center in Tetovo, North Macedonia. From 2012 to 2016, he served as a resident in Radiology at the Radiology Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. Upon completing his specialization, he continued his professional career as a radiology specialist in the same clinic, where he remains active to this day.
Since 2021, Dr. Murati has also been engaged as a lecturer in the Department of Radiology at AAB College in Pristina, contributing significantly to the education and professional development of students in this field.
In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Murati has participated in a range of international professional training programs and scientific events. These include the Digital Event on Endovascular Management of Cerebral Hemorrhages (April 2024), the Vesalio Clot Interaction Workshop held in Barcelona, Spain (September 2023), and the “iCure Stroke 2023” conference in Istanbul, Turkey (July 2023). He has also attended earlier symposiums and meetings in 2021 and 2022 focused on endovascular treatment of cerebral hemorrhages.
Alongside his native language Albanian, Dr. Murati is also proficient in English and Macedonian.
