Prof. Ass. Dr. Resul Sinani was born on 01.09.1978 in the village of Zaplluxhe in the Opoja region, Dragash municipality. He completed his studies at the Faculty of Albanian Language and Literature at the University of Prishtina, his master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at AAB College, and his doctorate in Social Sciences with a profile in Communication at the European University of Tirana – UET.
Since 1999, he has worked in media in various positions such as journalist, moderator, editor, and program author. He has worked at Radio Prizreni, TV Kukësi, Radio 21, KTV, and RTK1, and has also collaborated with various newspapers and portals. Additionally, he has been involved in moderating hundreds of different cultural events, conferences, and other important occasions.
Since 2009, he has been engaged as a university lecturer. Initially, he worked as a part-time lecturer in the Journalism department at the University of Prishtina, then for three years he worked at UBT College in the Faculty of Media and Communication, and since October 2016, he has been a professor at AAB College in the Faculty of Mass Communication, the Faculty of Psychology, and the Faculty of Social Sciences. Since January 2018, he has served as the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication!
Prof. Ass. Dr. Resul Sinani has published three books, “The Moderator and Moderating on Television”, “The Role of Television in National Socio-Cultural Communications”, and “Research in the Field of Media and Communication I”. He is also the author of dozens of scientific papers which he has presented at international scientific conferences and published in international scientific journals outside Kosovo, including Italy, Croatia, England, Turkey, Czech Republic, Romania, Austria, and Albania.
He has also been invited as a lecturer and trainer in the fields of journalism, media, and communication, with an emphasis on speaking and public communication in dozens of different projects, including the Erasmus+ program.
