On the topic “The importance of social awareness in preventing unnecessary exposures to ionizing radiation and the role in reducing the collective dose”, a lecture was delivered by professor Sehad Kadiri.

This lecture was attended by students of the Faculty of Radiology as well as other interested parties, to learn more about the challenges and the importance of social awareness in preventing unnecessary exposures to ionizing radiation and the role in reducing the collective dose.

Professor Kadiri, through a presentation, talked about the dangers that can be present during radiation, how to avoid them, the ages that are most at risk, the diseases that can come as a result of radiation, etc.

At the end of the lecture, the students had questions about the long-term effects that radiation can have on the health of any person, including health staff.
