Students from the Faculty of Psychology participated in the EULEX Youth Forum – Assist Kosovo, which addressed the topic “Digital Violence Against Women and Girls.”
The event was organized as part of the global campaign “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence”, providing a valuable space for academic discussion and professional reflection.
During the forum, students attended lectures and discussions covering the psychological mechanisms of digital violence, its most common forms, emotional and social impacts on victims, and the role youth can play in preventing such phenomena. They also participated in interactive sessions with experts, asking questions and receiving professional guidance and recommendations.
The Faculty of Psychology’s Dean, Dr. Arvesa Studenica, was part of the panel, providing in-depth scientific perspectives on trauma response, youth empowerment, and the role of mental health professionals in addressing gender-based violence. Her contribution was a key highlight of the forum, offering insights that combined academic research with professional practice.
This activity represents a valuable opportunity for students’ academic development, equipping them with knowledge and skills to actively engage in preventing all forms of violence in society.
