Architect Lumnije Gashi Shabani holds a Master’s degree in Urban Management and Development from Erasmus University / IHS in Rotterdam. She has over 20 years of experience, initially in the private sector, four years in the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning (MESP), international organizations and, most recently, in civil society, and as an independent consultant. Her activities have varied from architecture and design, to strategic urban planning and environmental planning, policy making, and institutional framework in Kosovo, the aim of which is to create a standardized methodology for assessing the quality of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and the Municipal Zoning Map (KDP), based on defined indicators and criteria, during the drafting process and before their final approval.
