AAB College, as a non-public higher education institution, pays special attention to the acquisition of new knowledge, i.e. research. In order to expand the range of knowledge, to raise debate and compare this knowledge from different academic perspectives, the Faculty of Mass Communication of AAB College organized the Scientific Student Conference “Communication and Information in the Age of Social Media and Fake News”.

The conference was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication of AAB College, Hasan Saliu, who welcomed the participants to this annual event. The presented scientific research addressed various topics of society, such as “The image of Albania during the COVID-19 pandemic, the case of sending doctors and nurses to Italy”, “The international image of Kosovo through international media reporting on the election of President Osmani “,”Inaccurate information during the pandemic on Kosovo social media”, etc.

Students from Kosovo and Albania contributed to the scientific papers at the conference. The participating students emphasized that this conference was a very good opportunity to present their research and make new friends.
