Students of the Faculty of Computer Sciences participate in a conference organized by the American Chamber in Kosovo

On “Cybersecurity 360, and how to protect your business in the digital age”, a conference was organized by the American Chamber in Kosovo, where second-year students from the Cybersecurity program of the Faculty of Computer Sciences participated.

The Chair of the American Chamber in Kosovo, Arian Zeka, emphasized the importance of cyber security nowadays when the digital transformation is reformulating the business environment.

Meanwhile, Craig Kim, economic officer at the Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo, said that the US has a tradition of supporting a safe internet, where human rights are protected and data circulates freely.

At the conference there were two panels combined with companies that deal with cyber security and from the academic level.

Professor Fehmi Hysenaj, who accompanied the students, emphasized that this was a good experience for them and such events should be organized more often, in order to raise awareness of the role of cyber security.
