Students of the Faculty of Public Administration had the opportunity to conduct a study visit to the State Archives Agency of Kosovo, with the aim of deepening their knowledge on the management and preservation of state documentation. During the visit, they were introduced to archival processes, the importance of official documentation and the challenges faced by public administration in managing historical and institutional data.
A special thanks goes to the Director of the Central Archives, Mr. Ruzhdi Panxha, for his hospitality and detailed explanations on the functioning and importance of archives in preserving the documentary heritage of Kosovo. We also express our gratitude to the academic staff, Prof. Blinera Veliu, and to the participating students, who showed great interest and commitment during this visit.
This experience was a valuable opportunity for students to understand archival practice and its importance for public administration. The effective use of archives is essential for institutional transparency, good governance, and the preservation of state memory, serving future generations as an important source of information and study.
