In the framework of lectures with foreign diplomats at AAB College, the Finnish Ambassador, Mr. Johan Schalin, was the ambassador of choice to deliver a lecture on Finnish diplomacy.

With the help of Prof. Nexhmedin Spahiu, Ambassador Schalin unveiled interesting topics related to the history of the Finnish state through different historical periods. Over the past decades, Finland has played an active role in promoting peace and stability in the Western Balkans through the mediation of peace and other international tasks. Ambassador Schalin stressed that the establishment of stability and prosperity in the Western Balkans is in Finland’s interest.

The Finnish diplomat’s lecture for students continued with a discussion session where students had the opportunity to pose questions pertaining to the topics.
