In order to strengthen the promotion of bodybuilding and fitness in the region, a meeting was held today at AAB College with the presidents and representatives of the Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness of Kosovo (FBBFK) and the Albanian Federation of Bodybuilding.
The meeting was opened by the vice-rector of AAB College Venera Llunji, who delivered a detailed presentation about the institution emphasizing the commitment to the advancement of sports education and fitness.
Also present were the president of the Albanian Federation Rando Kukeli, the Fitness Challenge instructors Jurgen Veizi and Egli Dankshi, the chairman of FBBFK Fadil Kunushevci, the sports director Esat Lata, the manager of FBBFK Sabri Dragusha, as well as the representatives from AAB College, the dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Fatmir Pireva, quality assurance coordinator Besim Gashi and assistant Fatbardh Ajvazi.
Discussions focused on collaborative strategies to promote bodybuilding and fitness in Kosovo and Albania, with emphasis on the importance of active participation in European and international bodybuilding and fitness federations. These are aimed at increasing the presence of athletes from both countries on the global stage, supported by the academic and logistical expertise of AAB College.
Jurgen Veizi and Egli Dankshi presented the concept of the Speedfit and Fitness Challenge competitions, highlighting their potential as major events in the region. These competitions are expected to provide an excellent platform for athletes to demonstrate their skills, contributing to the growth of our countries’ reputation in the field of bodybuilding and fitness.
As a result of AAB College’s cooperation with partners is the Kosovo and Albania Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship, which starts from August 29 and continues until September 7, 2024. Organized by FBBFK, this prestigious event will be held at AAB College in Prishtina , strengthening the institution’s position as the main center for the promotion and advancement of sport and fitness in the region.
